Batmobile Modeling

looking for a little advise

I have striped an elite batmobile and removed the Barris badges and filled in the fuel door, I have the body all smoothed out and ready to primer. My question is, before I primer and get ready to repaint, is there gonna be any bodywork needed to install the forth coming lighted bat ray lenses? If so i will have to wait to repaint ,cause i only want to have to do it once. So if someone can shed a little light on my problem and/or anything else "bodywork wise" I may have...

After dragging my feet for so long, I finally stripped the paint off of my elite! I also ground off the 2 Barris badges that were cast into the body and filled any rough spots with body filler including the fuel door, so now its ready to primer. Now that the weather is starting to cool down, I am wondering when any more parts might be available? I have purchased just about everything that is available at the present time and I know Futurabat is doing the canopys, door panels and dash, Mit...

Okay, I would like to know how many of you are bugged by the Batmobile's doors? It's that supposed 'weather strip' that gets me, you know...at the top inner edge. Since I have redone the door panels I have been looking more and more at this and can't help thinking the car would look much better without it.

Tonight, during my breaks while waiting for either silicone to set or glue to dry, i'm going to remove and spot paint the area to see.

Just found this board. Fantastic work.. I'm hoping to start my own hot wheels 1/18. Which model do you think is a good start off point. I'm thinking the elite model, not too expensive. Any help appreciated and sorry if this has been covered.

its been a while since ive been around, so how are the upgrade parts coming? i am waiting to purchase when everything is available at one time. the parts that are on the site now are awesome, and cant wait to install them in my car! Ive heard, new wheels, beacon/rollbar, canopys, door panels, light kits, seats and other things are the works but i havent read any talk as to when these might be available. please post an update when you get a chance. thanks!

Well, I did something this week I never planned on doing......I pimped out one of my 1/18 HW standard Batmobiles (I like the dash better than on the E or SE versions). I had the dash that I had used to made my Insane Detailing parts with, and was going to put it up on Ebay, but decided I would just have Batmobile left behind without a dash.....so I made this one-off, Frankenstein of parts, "insanely detailed" Batmobile...

It's been kind of quiet recently, anything to share?

I just finished talking with our new electronics distributor. We started developing these last year and talked to several lighting people. The thing that we were waiting for is finally here and that's a tiny (dime sized) flickering fire circuit for the exhaust that wouldn't break the bank. We can specify pretty much any configuration we want for our lighting kits. However, I am not going to stock 7 different models. There will be ONE lighting kit available so I would like to know what...

Hello everyone! I'm a new member. I clumsily broke 2 of the 4 panels on the BatRadar Beam (?) trying to remove the plastic band from inside the hood of the HW Elite Batmobile 1:18 and am devastated. Since for thirty eight years i've worked in plastic I have a few questions about the metal on the Batmobile. I am aware that the metal used in diecasts is a fairly soft metal...i'm worried about some mods I want to make. Having completely dissassembled an Elite, I want to make the following...
