Thanks to our HW Insider (www.replicarz.com) , we received a few shots of the new Super Elite HW Batmobile.
Here's a better look than on the main page of the site. We also got a complete list of upgrades and parts that we'll be posting as soon as we get
clearance later tonight. I'll say this - it looks sweet. I'll hold off on comments for a bit - let the discussion begin!

I am looking for the list of upgrades and one of those great videos of yours. Hopefully, you are typing up that long list of improvements. HWC Mark mentioned
the braided cables and laser etching - do you have it in hand?
I just ordered one from Replicarz - hopefully they'll deliver. How about this starter list Canvas/cloth parachutes (with working chutes?) Multi-piece seats - perhaps folding with cloth covering Steering wheel speedometer functional rolltop dashboard improvements on dash components Functional lighting all around (NO) working turbine exhause flame more labels (argh) (does each count as one - that's how they got to 200 parts on the elite) Batman and Robin Figure (not likely, but we can wish) Sound chip (remember the 1/24 snake/mongoose diarama drag set, or the Twin Mill set pictured below? how about "Atomic Batteries to Power, Turbines to Speed ... ") detailed engine compartment - braided cables, chrome shock towers More chrome in the interior Chrome antenna in rear Working Chain Cutter Working BatRam Batray that raises and lowers Metal rocket tubes with rockets that'll shoot your eye out (Corgi style)

I think HSG means housing,as in the frame that houses the beacon.alexander

I think you got that one Alexander--I'm pretty sure they mean housing for the siren light. Oh and it definitely looks like that base will be a tight fit in
the box--the car must sit a bit lower than where the lid meets the bottom of the box (maybe about halfway down) and then you can lift it out if you want to
display it. There's a tough one for collectors who want to keep it sealed--no way to see how purty it will finally be unless you crack that baby open. I
have two on order, but I'm not sure I won't cancel one or that both will actually come thru. I have faith in BBTS, but I'm still waiting to see if
hobbylinc comes thru with the elite--they emailed yesterday to update the status--still not cancelled and they say SE on 9/12. Who know's whether
they'll actually arrive there ever.

Yep Housing. could be. Which means it's a separate listing for the "housing" which might be the beacon cage? And for something they call siren
lighting cover? Both allegedly metal.

looks like it's still NOT Painted on the hood over the bat ray'scheck the pic of the one on the stand
 I used this model master paint to get a good match on my
elite used chevy engine red (4629)

Display looks nice, but i don't think most of us will want to use it unless its under a lid or in a display case. I've never seen any other SE's,
so maybe that aren't meant to be displayed in their boxes (at least outside a dust-free environment). Maybe Scott has something both solve this
"problem", and with a little sound, too?

Well, I for one can't see any reason to pay the extra $$$ just for a few more parts and an aluminum base... whoopie. My Elite looks just fine compared to
the Special Eite, and will look much better with Scooter's accurate beacon cage, first season accurate antlers, and a pair of Scooters "Dynamic
Duo" figures warning the seats. I can hand- paint the details on the dash lights for significantly less than the price difference (Hell, I could buy a few
more Elites with the price difference!!!) between the two. Jeez... $275.00 and they still couldn't paint the BatRay trim?? BTW,
Miket, TY for the Testors acrylic paint match for the stripes. I'm thinking I might experiment a little and airbrush some onto decal paper, seal it, then
cut out proper-width BatRay trim decals and apply them to the car... no worries about masking and messing up the paint, having a rough finish, etc., and if one
gets damaged, just cut and apply a new stripe!
