Hi welcome to the board.

First off - understand that the door bats are part of larger sets. Both in the decal set and the metal parts set. We included them because we had room.

I personally like the bats that Hot Wheels finally put on the doors (after the wrong, too big ones were shown on the prototypes and the fuzzy SDCC car) but many people are getting them off-centered and have said this bugs them. I will personally leave mine as factory stock on my main version of this model.

Now that being said - several of our more hard core perfectionists are completely stripping the paint from this car and will need new decals. Some people want to use the metal door bats (in conjunction with the decals) to create the raised emblem look from the 3rd season.
