Not ready for prime time yet, but I thought I'd share progress. This is a new top for a detect-a-scope. I am sending some stuff out to Doug and wanted to
show this before it went further. In the 1965 pre-pro shots of the car - both original lights on the scope were present. They were both broken off sometime
before the show started filming but Doug and I both thought it looked better in its original form. Check out these tiny lights he made. (I don't have the
left-hand side toggles and switches yet)
Now, this is just the top part of the scope as it needs to angle downward and get seated in a sort of cheesy box with scale quarter-round molding around the edge for a scalloped look.We have a different resin version ready for molding but I wanted to show this one first because it has a pretty interesting secret. In fact, I think I'll let you guys guess what it might be. Think outside the box. And no - these lights don't function, those stems are just to assist with mounting them.
